The Goddess Out There

Suzanne Mondoux · 24 November 2020

And there the tide washed me up Outside of this place, a world no longer on level ground In the heap of the dead and dying When all was laid down in peace The Goddess out there slipped through without notice And in the mist of the sea breeze Many hearts cried out – what about love The Goddess out there unlocked the gates of the prison cells The hearts rose at the clink of the chains Singing in the distance the voices of Beings The signs and visions of a life, of life resounded Amidst the unfamiliar face of a new world The Goddess out there called out Who wants to live Who wants to love Who dares to die without life, without love The Goddess out there raised her hand to the world The lightning strike without the flame The winds and cyclones without ravishing the earth The Goddess out there rising from the underworld The eyes of tomorrow on her The world from a bright flash anew
