Anywhere

Suzanne Mondoux · 24 October 2020

I am washed up on the shores of our seas I fall from the sky And I rot in the soil of our earth Anywhere I find myself I’m forever in decay I search for life anywhere I find myself amongst the many deteriorated before me Decreased in numbers rapidly is too simply said Decomposed only to be seen another way Anywhere is the gradual decline of all life The dwindling of minds spoiling in parts The waning of your existence sounding preposterous You shout out No such outrageous outcome can be so Anywhere exist the absurdity of the human pride Ludicrous its conceit of eternal presence when seeing only the moment Ignoring future generations the ultimate demise of the human race Anywhere the outlandish and unreasonable lack of sensibility Anywhere biodiversity of your soul you find laughable Keep watch on what you call a lunacy way of life I am but one of the Animal Beings in decay as I roam in search of a tomorrow
